My name is Mitch Brown and I’m a 2nd year grad-student in historic preservation at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I am working on my thesis project, which is a short but intense 2-4 day “boot-camp” class for those working in historic preservation and related fields. Its aimed at the professional and the amateur (amateur in the French sense of the word). My concentration is on small communities.
As part of my thesis requirements I have to present to the public. I am asking if I might use your photos of design charettes in my PowerPoint presentations. From a visual standpoint the photos capture what I’m hoping to achieve with my project.
This is not for commercial purposes, but merely for my PowerPoint presentation.
Please feel free to use the photos for your presentation. Can you copy them from the blog or do you need originals? Please feel free to contact me at mgilshire@cwb.org for more information.
Good luck with your presentation!
